Susan M. Keil DVM, MS, DACVO

Current Services

Dr. Keil moved into her renovated Lenexa clinic in December of 2013. The clinic address is 11519 W 83rd Terrace, Lenexa, KS 66214. The phone number is 913.599.6656 and the fax number is 913.599.6655. For more information, please see the scheduling information below.

A sub-specialty passion of Dr. Keil’s is equine ophthalmology. As an avid equestrian, she thoroughly enjoys helping fellow equestrians and their horses. Please contact us if you wish to schedule an appointment. Dr. Keil designed her facility to allow a haul-in option for equine case evaluation. KVO is the only ophthalmology practice in the area offering this service to horse owners.

Please note the initial charge for both small animal and equine evaluations includes the base line ophthalmic tests of measuring tear production, intraocular pressures, and corneal staining.

For the dog enthusiasts, Dr. Keil also performs genetic screening examinations for the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals Eye Certification Registry (OFA ECR). If your dog / breed club is interested in scheduling an OFA ECR clinic, please contact us to discuss the details. For more information on OFA ECR vs. CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) please see our eye certification page for links. Equine eye certification may also be performed.

Clinics may be scheduled after hours and on weekends.
